Status Gate enforces process discipline in your CRM. It stops a record from entering a status or select value until the conditions you define are met. For example, a deal cannot move to Won until Deal value is filled in and over a threshold you choose. If someone moves it anyway, Status Gate reverts the change within a second or two and posts a comment on the record explaining exactly what is required. It is a pure guardrail. There is no third-party service to connect and nothing leaves your workspace. You map a rule to a status or select attribute, add the conditions that must hold, and the gate does the rest. Built by Dialed Technologies. There are two ways to use it. The settings panel gives admins a no-code rule editor with dropdowns for every field, so a rule takes a minute to build and just works. For power users, two workflow blocks — a status-changed trigger and a revert-attribute step — let you compose gating with native workflow conditions and notifications.

Automatic Enforcement
Status Gate watches changes to the status or select attribute you choose. When a record enters a gated value with your conditions unmet, the app reverts the attribute to its previous value — or to a fallback you pick when there is no prior value — and posts a comment naming the requirement.
Flexible Conditions
Require a field to be filled or empty, to equal or not equal a value, to contain or not contain text, to be greater or less than a number (with or without equals), or to be checked or unchecked. Combine several conditions on one rule with all (AND) or any (OR) logic, and add as many rules as you need across any objects.
No-Code Editor & Workflow Blocks

[ Setup ]

Install Status Gate and grant the requested scopes: object configuration read, record read and write, webhooks read and write, comments read and write, and workspace member read.

Open the app settings and choose Add rule. Give the rule a name, then pick the object, the status or select attribute to gate, and the value to guard (for example a deal, Deal stage, Won).

Add one or more conditions on other fields, choose all or any logic, and set a fallback value to use when there is no previous value to restore.

Optionally pick a member to author comments when a change is made by an automation rather than a person, and use the per-rule toggle to decide whether that rule comments at all.

Save. The gate is active immediately. Use the Check gate status action on any record to test it, and watch the recent blocks log to confirm enforcement.
